The Camel Ride in Cabo San Lucas at Wild Canyon is a gentle, guided safari on the back of a friendly camel through the Baja canyon, not along the beach. We keep the route off the sand on purpose: beach salt irritates a camel's sensitive skin, so a canyon ride is healthier for the animals and just as scenic for you. You meet the herd, learn how they are cared for, then ride on a serape-draped saddle, two riders per camel.
It is built as a full day in one place: no long transfer out to a far-off ranch. Your ride comes with camel interaction, a guided visit to our animal sanctuary, lunch at the Lion's Den, and free run of the park, from Wagoona Aqua Park to the hanging bridges.

Ride, interact and connect
It starts on foot. After a short safety briefing, you meet the herd up close, get to know a few of them, and hear how the team keeps them healthy and well cared for.
Then you climb into the serape-draped saddle and set off. The camel's tall, rocking gait turns the Baja canyon into a slow, scenic safari, with your guide leading the way and plenty of time to take it all in.
Back on the ground it gets hands-on: pet, feed, and even kiss a camel for the photo everyone wants. From there you walk our animal sanctuary of rescued animals, then refuel with lunch at the Lion's Den.
Your ticket does not stop there: it opens the rest of the park, from Wagoona Aqua Park and the hanging bridges to the bike and pump tracks and a tequila tasting for adults.

Cancellations. Free cancellation more than 48 hours before, and free rescheduling more than 24 hours ahead. Cancellations within 48 hours, no-shows, and late arrivals are non-refundable.
Animal welfare. Our camels are well cared for. Guides set the pace and may pause or end a ride for the animals' wellbeing.

Weight
One camel carries up to 220 lb (100 kg) total, with a maximum of two riders per camel. See full physical requirements.
Children
Kids are welcome and ride with an adult if they are underweight or under age for solo riding.
Health conditions
Not suitable for guests with heart, neck, back, or respiratory conditions, vertigo, or limited mobility.
Pregnancy
Not suitable for pregnant guests.

Dress comfortably. Light, comfortable clothing and a hat for the Baja sun.
